Job Description
Elite Maritime Group is currently recruiting an experienced Second Officer for a modern Oil/Chemical Tanker.
The successful candidate will be responsible for passage planning, navigation, maintenance of navigational publications and charts, bridge watchkeeping, safety equipment inspections and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
This position offers long-term employment, professional career development and the opportunity to join a modern international fleet.
Requirements
- ✓ Second Officer Unlimited Certificate of Competency
- ✓ Previous experience as Second Officer on Oil/Chem Tankers
- ✓ Valid Advanced Oil and Chemical Tanker Certificates
- ✓ Valid STCW Certificates
- ✓ Valid Medical Certificate
- ✓ Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
- ✓ Good knowledge of ECDIS, Radar and Bridge Navigation
- ✓ Knowledge of ISM, MARPOL and SOLAS requirements
- ✓ Good English communication skills
- ✓ Available to join in August 2026
